Vintage Steiff Black Scary Halloween Cat c.1952 - Large Size:

This is a vintage c. 1952 Steiff black Tomcat or Halloween Scary Cat. The body is hard stuffed and made of mohair with velvet ears. It has a red stitched nose and paws with bright green eyes. It has original ribbon around the neck (no front tag) and the silver script Steiff button in his ear. It’s in overall good condition commensurate with age. He stands at 13” tall measured from the bottom of the back paws to the tip of the tail and 8” tall from the front paws to the top of the head. This is one of the larger black cats in the Steiff family and it’s from my personal collection.
