Vintage29\" 8mm strand Majorica Tahitian Pearl Necklace, hand knotted, sterling silver clasp. 1950 - 60.Here is a very beautiful strand of Majorica Tahitian Peacock pearl necklace.Gorgeous hues of black, purpleand green withhigh luster. The strand is hand knotted in between each bead. The highly decorated clasp is set with 4 rhinestones or crystals along with a small matching pearl. It is stamped on the back with looks likeMP and underneath that 70, which stands for Majorica Pearls. It is made of sterling silver and tests positive for silver.There is a safety chain. This necklace issuperb quality with a good weight present(66 grams). It measures 29\" from one end to the other. Each pearl is 8mm. It is in excellent condition.
