Good afternoon from Congers, NY. I ended a number of listings last week as I was away on vacation. I am back and I\'m eager to make deals. Go ahead and make an offer, the worst I can say is \"No, thanks\".
A beautiful and somewhat unusual sterling silver porringer / baby bowl, manufactured by the Thomae company. The bowl is 1.5\" overall height, 4 1/8\" wide across the bowl only, 5.5\" from end of handle to end of bowl. The porringer is not monogrammed, and the enamel and the dish itself are in excellent condition.
Signed on the back edge of the handle with the Thomae company cypher and \"Sterling\" (photo of the mark not as crisp as I would like...). The weight of the bowl is 5.60 Oz Troy. No other marks.
The porringer is tarnished and needs a cleaning. No dents, no dings, no issues; ready to use. More attractive in person.
