Do you like things that look old? I don't mean vintage. I don't mean antique. I mean ancient! This is one of the most impressively new things that is made to look old.
This is a replica of an old Santos. The original was in wood and this one is done ispaper machewith arms that are just a bit poseable. There are layers of antiquing.She stands16 inches high and her child is about 7 inches and is removable. The childs limbs are somewhat awkwardly askew, but Ithink that's part of the folky charm. Bethany Lowe is best known for nice holiday reproductions of Santa Claus and Easter bunnies, but I'm really impressed with this slight departure from the usual.
These are retired and once these are gone I have no more.
It's not really for any certain season and could be left up year round. Maybe you've got a collection of vintage looking crosses on the wall and how perfect he would be in front of them
