Makes about a 9\" by 9\" waffle.A nice chrome waffle iron from the 40\'s!Fabulous vintage Sunbeam Waffle Iron Model W-2-A with indicator light, circa 1945-1955. This model number has a heavy duty heating element and was made to be near commercial quality. It was the highest quality waffle maker in it\'s time, a real workhorse. Automatically make 4 good sized waffles...80 sq. inches and ordinary waffle irons had only 37 sq. inches. Another feature of this model, it is designed so you can\'t over fill it. Waffle iron works great, cord is excellent, clean with no fraying. Black bakelite handles have no damage. There are scratches to the stainless steel/chrome on the top, which may be hard to see in the photos. Due to the design, most of these will have scratches/scuffs. The grids are seasoned, thus, they are discolored. There are various methods to remove the discoloration, if you would like to recondition them, one product is called \"GET CARBON OFF\", some prefer natural products such as baking soda and elbow grease (brillo/sos pads are not recommended). This classic waffle iron will compliment any vintage kitchen and will also look just as at home in a modern kitchen.
