Vintage Taxco Mexican Silver Bracelet ~ Jose Louis Flores For Miguel ~ Modernist For SaleThis fabulous early vintage Mexican Silver Bracelet was crafted in Taxco by the noted silver artist Jose Luis Flores who worked for many of the silver masters including Hector Aguilar. He created this bracelet while workingwith Miguel Garcia Martinez and it is a great example of his skill as both a designer and craftsman. The bracelet has a elegant yet modernist style with an almost abstract curving design done in thick sterling silver. Each of the six wide links is slightly curved so when the bracelet is worn it wraps beautifully around your wrist. It measures 7 1/4" long not including the tongue of the clasp by 1 1/4" wide and weighs a heavy 58.8 grams. Hallmarked "Sterling Taxco" around the initials "JLF", "Miguel" along with the design number 1126. It is in good original vintage condition with no signs of damage or repair ~ only minor signs of wear and a bit of tarnish. The button topped push in clasp keeps tightly closed and there is an attached safety chain for added security. This is a superb vintage Sterling Silver Bracelet by a highly collectible artist ~ it's timeless design and elegance will never go out of style!
