This is truly a magnificent sterling silver and shell or horn bracelet from Taxco, Mexico, circa 1940s. The bracelet is a William Spratling design, but where Spratling used stone, this artisan has used a dark, shimmery shell or horn that is attached to the cuff with sterling silver rivets to become an integral part of the design. This is just a massive and bold piece and will attract attention when you wear it. Magnificent!
