Vintage Thanksgiving Die Cuts 15 Decorations Beistle Eureka Dennison Hallmark For Sale
Lot of vintage Thanksgiving decorations, including die cuts and honeycomb tissue decorations. All are authentic vintage, with varying ages and degrees of use. Each item is described below according to the manufacturer. The items with no maker names or signatures are described as well. Carrington, Leominster MA
Small Turkey die cut, photo 11, next to large Turkey. Excellent with just a bit of corner wear on lower left. Back is clean and free of tape marks and tack marks. 7" tall.
Large Turkey Die Cut. Front paint good. Has wear at pointed cuts at edges. End of claw missing bottom right. Bent beak. Back shows a few tape marks, folds at bottom edges, and signs of moisture. The moisture marks are clear and don't show through to the front. 16" tall.
Turkey with harvest vegetables, die cut. A small piece of scotch tape is at the base, and a few tack holes are visible. Back is clean and free of tape marks. 12" tall
Corn Tissue decoration. Shows wear at the paper tabs that hold the round open. Edges have fold marks, reverse side shows some missing finish from tape marks. Tabs at the top indicate this is a piece to a larger decoration.
Large Honeycomb Turkey decoration. In the photo, is the turkey that stands in center. Stands 14" tall. There are some slight fold markson feet and at paper tab that holds the round together. There is a bit of wear at the turkey neck and a fold line there as well. These flaws may be too small to be seen in the photo. A close up is taken of a what looks like a spot of water damage on one side, across a few of the Identical Turkeys, in the photo are facing each other. Only one is signed Eureka, but they appear to be identical. They are very clean and near flawless with only a few tack holes.
2 autumn leaves. Shows a few staple holes, no tape marks. Clean back. 7" tall.
Product of Japan
2 Honeycomb Turkeys, photographed facing each other. They stand 10 inches tall. Very good color, one is missing a metal tab and needs a clip to hold it open. The difference between the two are the tissue colors.
No signature or manufacturer:
Turkey with white border. Show little signs of use other than a few tack holes. Back shows some darkening, and one claw has fold lines at the tip. 12" tall.
Cornucopia. No visible flaws. Brown back. 11" tall.
2 Corn bundles. These show little wear at edges, one piece has a scotch tape at top, and is missing finish near the top punch hole. The other looks flawless. Both have tape marks on reverse and tack holes near tops, and bottoms. Each is stamped 5 cents. 8" tall.
