Vintage Tiffany Sterling Silver Vermouth Dripper (oil Can Shape) 🍸 For Sale
Sterling Silver Vermouth Dripper
(Oil Can Shape) ☄
For sale is a vintage Tiffany sterling silver vermouth dripper ☄ in an oil can shape. On the bottom is stamped Tiffany & Co; 925 Sterling. That statement assures that the claim of the pedigree is 92½% solid. It weighs 1.4 ounces/41 grams. It stands about 4” (10 cm) tall and has a diameter of about 2⅛” (5.4 cm). We are pretty sure this dates to the 1960s.
There are no dings or scratches but the spout (more a dipstick than a spout), where it meets the can has been bent and partially broken. It holds fine but a small amount of solder would sturdy it. (If requested, I can do that though maybe not as well as you.) Even without that repair, this should hold for another few decades or even centuries.
