Vintage Tin Litho Toy Rattle by US Metal Toy Noisemaker Clown Faces Emmett Kelly:

This is one of those neat old metal rattles, litho-printed in bright colors and making a satisfyingly loud sound. This one is on a bright green plastic handle and printed with the faces of famous clown. Most recognizable is Emmett Kelly, and the other three are familiar to me, but I can\'t find the reference to put a name to them. There\'s a medium blue background, and four clown faces, with big yellow half circles between them and a red edging. On one side is printed U.S. Metal Toy Mfg. Co. Made in USA. My granddaughter saw the slit in the top of this and put some coins inside, which I can\'t remove, so there\'s a cash bonus in this noisemaker, but it still makes a good sound.Size: 3 1/8\" in diameter and the metal rattle is 1 1/2\" deep. The handle adds another 2 1/2\".
Condition: It is old, and has been played with. Some of the paint is worn off, and the handle is wobbly, but still attached.
