Up for sale is this wonderful tin litho, jointed fish. Appears to be a windup toy, I can see where the turn shaft is but there is no key, so not sure if it works. Condition is very good for a toy of this age with only minor rusting in the front by the mouth. The tail is jointed with wheels placed, not quite centered so when it\'s wound up and is working the jointed tail will move back and forth. The tin is in outstanding condition, colors are vibrant, looks life like. I\'m guessing this toy to date to the 1920\'s or 30\'s if not earlier. There are no manufacturers markings anywhere that I can see. Please refer to photos as they are part of the description. Measures approximately 8 1/2\" long. Feel free to contact us with questions or for additional photos. Note, just found out this toy is \"The Poor Fish\" manufactured in the 1920-30\'s by Louis Marx very hard to find item.
