Vintage Tin Music Box Cigarette Holder Dispenser Desk Dresser Bakelite Antique For Sale
Vintage Cigarette Dispenser
This sale nice for a really nice and very well made vintage dresser or desk cigarette dispenser. The holder is made of tin and it has a Bakelite plastic finial at the top (it's butterscotch in color but was painted blue at the factory). When you pull up on the lid several cigarette holding tubes are revealed and they fan out to give access to the cigarettes. It was never used and still has the paper rolls used to display the dispenser. The bottom has a music box that activates when the lid is removed. It has a maker’s name but I can’t quite make it out. Measures about 7" tall and is in good condition minus some patina to the tin. For some reason, the music box won’t stop playing all the time when the dispenser is closed – it just keeps playing.
