BEAUTIFUL FULLY WORKING NOMURA BATTERY OPERATED WHITE FUR VERSION ROARING GORILLA COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL BOX CIRCA 1958.

Item Description:

Offered here isafine plusexample of a vintage Japan Nomura Remote Control Battery Operated Roaring Gorilla. He is the harder to find white fur version and is in excellent working condition andcomplete with it's original box.The gorilla has been tested andhe works perfectly. Hewalks & roars loudly with opening and closing mouth and lighted eyes. The box says he sways his arms, and he does so easily and without requiring any assistance. He measures about 9" tall and his fur is complete without any tears. The battery box does have some rust along the rim of the lid but as you can see, it does not detract at all from the overall appearance. The original box is complete but does havesome wear and minor repairs to the inside of the top of the box.The box also still has the original price tag from G.C. Murphy for $2.98, along with the Export Stamp.This is a true high quality example of Japanese batteryoperated toys of the 1950's and 1960's whichwill only appreciate in value in the coming years.
