This is a vintage Trader Vic’s scorpion drink bowl circa post 1968. Bowl features three kneeling hula girls. Three part scene around the bowl depicts beach antics, palm trees, hula girls and “old timer rum” barrels (see pics).Bowl is hand decorated under glaze. Bowl is marked on the bottom with raised text “made for Trader Vic’s”. Bowl measures 9\"wide and 3 ⅞” tall. Bowl holds 68 ounces to the top and weighs nearly 2 ½ lbs. The bowl does have two hairline cracks on two sides of the bowl starting from the inside to the outside. (See pix) However, the cracks r not deep and bowl has never broken from the cracks or has never been glued together. These hairline cracks in no way take away from the beauty of the bowl. There r no chips on the remainder of the bowl and the colors r still very vibrant!These vintage bowls r a rare find and r selling for $175 plus plus!
