Up for sale is a vintage Scripto Vu-Lighter, still in its original tin box with all inserts and bag.

From the estate of a Michigan family, thefuel tank includes advertising for the old Quinco Tool company of "Detroit 28, Michigan."

CONDITION NOTES: This lighter comes from a one-owner home and appears unused.

CAP: The capis nice and firm, no wiggle.

WICK: appears original and unused.

FLINT: The originalflint had turned to dust; we removed itand found the flint tube plugged.Gently working it free, we cleaned & inserted a new flint: the flint wheel turned smoothly and with spark!

BODY: There are cosmetic scuffs & a few age spots to the exterior plating, especiallyon the topcap, which has a tiny ding (see photo 15). The base is solid, the fuel tank has little yellowing.

FUEL TANK:Fueltank is empty. We did not add fuel, leaving it as found.

TIN BOX: The outer box has scuffs, dingsand some paint loss.
