Absolutely wonderful pair of Vander Ley Balloon Back Parlor Chairs. This pair was made by the Vander Ley Company of Grand Rapids, Michigan. They were most famous for the furniture they made for Warner Brothers Studios and most notably the movie Gone with the Wind. This pair is sturdy, has lovely green upholstery (with light soiling primarily on the arms),and is in good vintage shape. The wood has minor bumps appropriate for the age. Even though this pair may not have been in the movies, they are certainly lovely enough to have been!
