Vintage Venetian Murano Sommerso Green Glass Round Aventurine Bead Necklace :

This is a beautiful vintage venetian Murano glass necklace with deep bottle green sommerso beads with aventurine inclusions.

There are 25 beads with filigree metal end caps and small clear spacer beads. The necklace is 17 inches long and fastens with a screw together barrel shaped clasp.

The beads are all the same size, so not graduated although as they are hand made they are not identical - just over 1/2 an inch diameter, and all in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.

I am really sorry that I can\'t sell any jewellery to Australia just now - Royal Mail have told me (after a tracked and insured item that I sent to Australia went missing) that they won\'t compensate me as jewellery is prohibited by au post (although it is not restricted by the Australian government who happen to be the sole owners of AU Post!). I am looking into it and hope to resolve this soon!

I will be selling more of my collection of beautiful old jewellery over the next few months. I havecollected a lot ofvintage and antique jewellery over the years and enjoy selecting and photographing interesting pieces to list on from time to time. My taste is quite eclectic but I do like good design and well made pieces, I love natural materials like coral, amber, jade and whitby jet, agate and other semi-precious stones. I also collect vintage Norwegian and Chinese enamel, Scottish silver jewellery and anything Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco, particularly Czech and Venetian art glass necklaces. I love beads! I also like quirky and unusual pieces so please check back from time to time :)

Nearly all of my items are used/vintage/pre-loved and I try to take good clear photos and mention any significant wear - If you are new to buying vintage jewellery please don\'t expect items to be as new or \'mint\' unless stated. Photos are enlarged so that you can inspect the items before offerding - please use the weights and measurements given. I try to remember to use 5p and 1euro coins in at least one of the photos to show relative scale. A 5p coin is almost exactly the same size as a US dime.

I usually try to list so that all of my sales end on Sunday so if you would like me to combine anything else that I am selling today please let me know and wait for your combined invoice before paying. All items paid immediately or by Sunday night will be posted on the Monday. Please pay within 3 days of sale end.

Shipping Discount

UK buyers - \'special delivery\' option should be selected on your invoice if the combined value of your items = £50 or more - your package will be tracked and insured and will require a signature on receipt.

I always keep proof of posting until response has been left and I know that your item has arrived safely.

Overseas buyers

items sent overseas have to be tracked to comply with PayPal buyer and seller protection - I offer to combine additional items free - Overseas buyers please be aware that you are responsible for any import restrictions, duties and/or other charges that may be made in your country.

I fill in customs forms honestly - marked as \'other\' and an \' item\' with the value given as the price paid on for it.

I am aware that it is ridiculous to pay £9-10 international shipping for an item selling for less than the shipping cost, for this reason I am happy to combine shipping on additional jewellery items free. Tracking info is added to your order details as soon as I have it.

Contact me before offerdingif you want to discuss cheaper untracked shipping and are happy to accept the risk of \'airmail small packets\' for 1/2 thecostoftracked shipping - only available on single items selling for £30 or less, and not on combined shipping. (I always keep proof of posting until I know the item has been received).

I like to get my items off to the post office on the Monday following the Sunday sales so if you pay right away you should have your item on the Tuesday or Wednesday (UK) and by the following week for overseas - subject to delays in transit but always tracked with Royal Mail \"International signed for\" or \"Airsure\" unless otherwise agreed beforehand.
