Vintage Johann Seltman Ginger jar or leave off the lid and it can be used as a vase. The jar has a floral decoration with gold trim around the edge of the lid, the top and base of the jar. The jar is marked Bavaria Vohenstrauss Johann Seltman Made in Germany. It is 12\" tall with the lid and 9.5\" without the lid. It has a circumference of 19\". The top of the lid was broken off and glued back on (see photo 10) Other than the lid the jar is in very good condition with no chips or cracks.
