ITEM DESCRIPTION: Presenting a neat, vintage W.H. Gunlocke (signed underneath on height adjustment knob) lawyer/banker/secretary\'s desk chair. I am unsure as to the type of wood, looks like walnut. It has dark maroon leather upholstery on the seat and back. The adjustment mechanisms (height and back rest) do work, but are a bit stiff. The leather upholstery on the seat has a big rip near the front edge. See the last photo for a close-up. The leather upholstery on the back rest section is in better shape, with just a few nicks here and there. The wooden frame/base of this chair is in very good condition, with just the expected light scratches/rubs. This W.H. Gunlocke desk chair measures from 16\" to 20\" in seat height, and the back height ranges from 31\" to 35\" tall. The seat itself measures 15\" by 17\". This chair has the original castor wheels, which have brass exterior housing. Rolls and swivels very well.
