Nice combination collectible, militaria WWII or baseball Hall of Famers. Navy All-Stars vs Army All-Stars Fourth Game in Central Pacific Area Championship Series, Naval Air Station, Kaneohe. Six pages inside including pictures of the Army and Navy leaders and team members. Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, USN; Lieutenant General Robert C. Richardson, Jr. USA; Vice Admiral Robert L Ghormley, USN; Lieutenant General Millard W. Harmon, USA. Lieut. Bill Dickey, Yankee catcher, is coach and manager of the Navy All Stars. 1st Lt. Tom Winsett, former Dodger, is manager of the Army All Stars. Army All-Stars include Dario Lodigiani, Joe DiMaggio, Johnny Beazly, Tom Winsett...just a few of the names. Navy All-Stars include PeeWee Reese, Johnny Lucadello, Sol Recca, George Dickey, Ziggie Sears, Marv Felderman....just a few of the names. There is a picture of each player indicating position played and major league team affiliation This program is from the fourth game of the 1944 Army-Navy World Series, held in Hawaii. The Navy defeated the Army 10-5 to take a four games to none in the series. The score card in the middle has not been written on. Some of the pages have age yellowing with the first page having a white area where a piece of paper was in the book.
