VINTAGE WEST GERMAN AGATHON FLAT / TRAY

BUNNY CHOCOLATE MOULD

Established in 1949 the Agathon Group produced metal chocolate moulds from 1949 until 1974. The company completely changed over to the production of plastic moulds. The firm is still in business today.Lovely Vintage Agathon chocolate or candy mould in a cool and differentBUNNY pattern. This flat sheet metal mould is in very good vintage condition with minimal age-related wear.A littlesurface rust to the sides, the top surface and to right side of the piece. On the side it is printed 73 agathon 818.
The 10-piece mould shows no breaks, cracks or repairs. Themoulds are very detailed.Each bunny is 3 3/4\" tall. Everyone of these moulds I have seen haveblue paint on one of the sections. It must be a way to identify one side of the mould for some reason. The piece measures: 14 1/8\" long by 8 5/8\" wide by 7/8\" deep. Very heavy piece.A wonderful piece to add to your collection. This mold can be easily hung on either side as the design looks great either way!
