Woweeee! This light is so awesome--I had it in my daughters room until she grew up and moved out! (*sniff*) She had a \"jungle\" theme in her room, so this was was a nice touch! It works perfectly, and is super easy to wire. It is rattan wicker, and totally all original mid century lighting--60\'s to early 70\'s.The light has a \"swag\" chain, and you can adjust the hang length on it by tying the chain links where you want it shorter. It is 18 inches in diameter. The light was made by the Kichler company, and I have never seen another one like this one with the two tones.It did have a globe, but I took it off and used a big round light bulb instead.....and lost the globe. It needs a 4\" base glass globe, and you can get \'em at Wal-Mart, or Lowes, or wherever they sell light shades, for about 5 bucks.It has a 19\" chain. I only needed it to be 14\" when I used it, so I just doubled up a few of the links. It is direct wired, just like any other ceiling light, and I just looked at the directions on YouTube--it\'s a pretty basic hook up, and I had it hooked up and going in 15 minutes! In wonderful condition, with no breaks in the rattan, it was very well taken care of--it even still has the original stickers!Feel free to ask any questions you have about this farrrrr out light!
