Estate sale find, vintage hand painted Winfield Bird of Paradise sugar bowl with lid. Great tropical décor for the summer patio.
Winfield Pottery was founded in 1929. Originally located in Pasadena, California, Winfield Pottery moved to Santa Monica in 1946 nd ceased operations in 1962, one of the many victims of cheap foreign imports and the rising popularity of plastic dinnerware.
The bowl is approximately 4\" wide X 3.75\" tall X 5.75\" long, approximate shipping weight 1.5 pounds.
The bowl is in overall Very Good used condition, some possible production flaws such as glaze pops, variation in the hand painted design, possible utensil marks and light crazing if any, no chips, cracks, or repairs, could use a cleaning, please see images.
