Up for sale is an amazing estate find, a rare and beautiful vintage Wright McGill "Granger Victory" 8 foot bamboo fly rod Model GV8040 with its original tube and pouch. Label on the tube states that the weight is 4 ozs. Patent date is April 12, 1938. Patent No. is 2, 117, 107. This beauty is in gorgeous shape. Just look at the details in the photos. This is a very well-cared-for example of this classic rod, just waiting for another good home. Made by Wright & McGill Rod Co. Boulder, Colo. in the good old U.S. of A.
