Up for offer is a great vintage radio made by Zenith, model K731, chassis 7K07, complete with original Operating Guide plus another brochure/leaflet - \"A simple explanation of Frequency Modulation\". The radio measures 15 3/4\" across, 7 3/4\" deep and 10 1/4\" tall. The front panel covering the speakers is in remarkably good condition with no dents or rips; the wood casing is also in excellent condition with a few minor scratches but nothing major. The radio itself works very well on the AM band with clear reception, but there is no reception on the FM band; as I am not a radio expert I did not want to open the back case or try to adjust or replace any of the tubes within.The Operating Guide is a fold-out leaflet with some rips and tears, but basically in good shape for its age. The other brochure, \"FM...Radio at its Finest / A simple explanation of Frequency Modulation\" is not only an explanation of the new-at-the-time technology of FM radio, but also a plug for Zenith\'s expertise in this area, and is intact with no stains, rips or tears.
