made in Western Germany by KLIRA in the 1950's:
Fullsize 16" archtop body with venetian cutaway. Fine solid spruce top, solid maple sidesand bookmatched maple back. Glossy natural finish, tortoise bindings.
Overall length: 41.75" (106cm), Scale: 25.4" (64.5cm).
Neck-width: 44mm at the nut / 54mm at the 12th fret.
Body: 16.35" (41.5cm) wide, 20.25" (51.5cm) long and 3.15" (8cm) deep.
Rosewood fretboard, 20 frets plus zero-fret, celluloid fret markers. D-shaped 5-ply mahogany/maple neck with walnut center stripe. String length compensated height adjustable ebony bridge.
An excellent sounding instrument with loud powerful jazzy tone and perfect separation of single notes. Great for all kinds of music, especially for jazz and swing.
Straight neck, low action - app. 3mm at the 12th fret !
