Vintage Handcrafted Squash Blossom Necklace Heavy Guage Silver Native American For Sale
Up for sale is a vintage SQUASH BLOSSOM Native American necklace.
My mom, who is in her eighties, received this spectacular necklace as a gift many years ago from her friend whotraveled frequently to the southwestern United States in the 1950's and 1960's.
The necklace measures approximately 25 1/2" in length, tip to tip. Each decorativesquash blossom, with shadow-boxed turquoise stone, measures about 1 3/4".
There are 10 squash blossoms on two rows of silver beads tapering to one row. The beads are strung on wire. The large naja measures about 3" across and frames a single matching dangling pendant.
This is a very heavy piece. The total weight is 260 grams.
I have tried to photograph this necklace accurately. It is truly an exquisite piece of jewelry!!!
