Vintage Old British Chiltern Type Mohair Teddy Bear,velvet Pads, 12" 1940-1950s For Sale
Adorable little vintage British character teddy bear, possibly by Chiltern dating from 1940s -1950s,
made of pale golden mohair,
feels to be stuffed with kapok and wood-wool throughout the body and wood-wool in the head,
fully jointed,
has got original right dark orange and black plastic eye and replacement left eye,
black vertically stitched nose might be replacement,
inverted V shape mouth stitching,
original velvet pads in good condition with little general wear,
no claws stitching, teddy bear is wearing green wool hand knitted dress.
Teddy is approx. 12'' tall.
Condition - teddy bear is in loved vintage condition with some general wear, thinning and balding patches, part of left ear is thorn, possibly has got replacement right arm.
