Vintage old Victorian Tarot playing cards Lot of 4 SPADES King and Queen Piatnik:

This is a lot of four beautiful old tarot playing cards published by Ferd. Piatnik & Sohnes, Wein. XIV Hutteldorfestrabe 229-231.These were published in the late Victorian era, between 1880 and 1890.As you can see the cards are well worn and definitely have been used a lot. However I think the wear gives a little extra charm to these pieces. These old cards would look nice matted and framed as a group, displayed on a mantle or side table. They could also be used to give a special touch to that scrap-booking or other art project.
Cards are approximately 2.75 x 4.75 inches. In poor condition but are over a hundred years old.
