All postage is charged at actual cost; the price charged by Royal Mail is the price you pay.
Postage can be combined on multiple items purchased within four days of each other.

RETURNS & REFUNDS
If you are unhappy with any purchase you may return the item within 28 days for a full refund including p&p.
Full or part refunds will also be given for items lost or damaged in the post.
OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS
Any Customs charges or other import taxes incurred are the responsibility of the buyer.
As a business seller I am bound by certain UK laws, therefore I will not understate an item's value on a Customs form or declare it as a gift.
Due to the increased number of parcels which have gone astray within the postal system some of my items will now have to be sent by International Signed For rather than standard Airmail. Unfortunately, this is a much more expensive service, so please check that the P&P charges are acceptable to you before placing a offer.
A silver chain necklace with an attractive linked front section set with blue john cabochons and marcasites.

AGE
I am not certain of the age of this necklace. The style & the use of marcasites with the larger blue john stones is very Edwardian, but has also been fashionable many times since then. The clasp is modern and is almost certainly a replacement, so does not help in dating the piece. However, whatever the age of the necklace it is a very attractive & wearable item.
SIZE
Approximately 43.5cm long. The large central blue john cabochon measures 1.8cm by 1.4cm to the outer edges of the mount.
CLASP
The necklace is fitted with a lobster style trigger clasp which is in secure working order. As stated above, this is probably a replacement for the original clasp.
MARKS
The clasp is marked '925'. There are no further marks on the piece, but the chain and all the links test as silver.
As with any of the unmarked items I sell, if you disagree with the test results I will provide a full refund, including return postage.
OVERALL CONDITION
Good vintage condition.
CONDITION DETAILS
There is a little light scuffing to the surfaces of the blue john cabochons, but this is really only visible with magnification. There are no missing marcasites.
I list a wide variety of jewellery & collectables and, whilst I am not an expert, I do try to describe each item accurately. I also provide photographs which show as much detail as possible.
