Update March 28th.: Due to the cost of shipping and Fees, it was necessary to increase the price of this item by $1.00. However, I am also increasing the number of comics in each lot from 6 to 8. I have found I can ship 8 comics for the same price as 6, so why not? Thank you for making this listing a success!!Update April 18th.: There has been a little confusion over what I am selling in this listing. I am not sure how that happened, but I will try to clear it up. First it appears that some people thought that each comic book in the grab bag is supposed to be worth at least $20.00. This is not the case! While some books in the grab bags are worth $20.00 or more, they are few and far between. The minimum $20.00 value is for ALL 8 comics in the grab bag COMBINED. Second, a question has come up around the fact that more of the comics in the grab bags are from the 90's or newer. This is just from simple laws of probability. When I culled the collection before making the grab bags I removed all Howard the Duck. Then I removed all Captain America, putting back any duplicate copies. Then I removed all comics with a value of $100.00 or more. Lastly, I removed all comics with a grading condition below very fine. This last step is what skewed things a little. Simply put, the older the comic is, the less likely it was to be in "very fine or better" condition. So the older the books get, the less likely they are to make it into the mix, and the less likely you are to get one in any particular grab bag. When the comic could make the grade, it was left in. (So what happend to the ones that don't make the cut? 100's of them have been place into grab bags of 4 "Reader Grade" comics and are being sold at this location , not available online, for $0.50 each grab bag)8 Random comics from the past in Very Fine Condition or Better for Just $6.00 with free shipping!! Good News for YOU!!I have been collecting comic for over 30 years. Now my wife says ether they go, or she goes! After months of deliberation I have decided it would be cheaper to keep my wife than keep the comics. Plus I could gain two rooms of my house back, and I might need one if she reads this! My collection contains only high grade (Very Fine or better) condition books, and spans from the 70' to the 2010'. She has graciously allowed me to keep two titles form my collection, and I have chosen "Howard the Duck" and "Captain America". I chose to keep Captain America because most of my autographed copies are Captain America. I chose Howard the Duck because it's the dumbest comic I have ever loved. I have additionally decided to get rid of my duplicate copies of Captain America only. So there is two more bits of good news for you! It means that you could get Captain America in your order, but are not at risk of getting any Howard the Duck! So what is in the mix besides Captain America?... The titles include but are not limited to... Avengers, Alfa Flight, Action Comics, Action Force, Adventure Comics, Adventure into Fear, Alf, Aliens Vs Predator, All-Star Squadron, Amazing Adventures, Amazing Spider-Man, Ambush Bug, Amethyst, Animal Man, Aquaman, Arak: Son of Thunder, Archer and Armstrong, Archie Digests, Arion: Lord of Atlantis, Astonishing Tales, The A-Team, Atom, Batgirl, Batman, Batman and the Outsiders, Battlestar Galactica, Betty and Veronica, Black Knight, Black Panther, Blackhawk, Blaze, Bloodshot, Bloodstrike, Bonanza, Brigade, Buck Rogers, Cable, Captain Marvel, Captain Planet, Captain Savage, Casper, Cat Woman, Checkmate, Cloak and Dagger, Combat, Conan the Barbarian, Crucible, Cyber Force, Daredevil, Dark Crystal, Darkmam, Dazzler, Deathlok, Dennis the Menace, Detective Comics, Dick Tracy, DNAgents, Doc Savage, Doctor Fate, Doctor Strange, Doctor Who, Doom Patrol, El Diablo, Elektra, Eternals, Evil Ernie, Excalibur, Factor X, Falcon, Fantastic Four, Firestorm, Flash, Flash Gordon, Flitstones, G.I. EIGHT random comics from the past, in Very Fine or better condition, with a guaranteed value of at least $20.00* in every order!!Too be far, I must inform you that I have also removed any book with a value in excess of $100.00. You are not
buying a chance at Action Comics #1 or any other ridiculously high value comic in
this listing. The value of each book in these lots is between $100.00
and $2.50 with most coming in at around $4.00. An example of your odds of getting a more collectable comic like Spawn #1 would look like this... There are 15 copies of Spawn #1 packed into the 700 envelopes that are sealed and ready to ship. Since there are no duplicate titles in the envelope, that means your chance of getting a Spawn #1 are 1 in 47.Can you request a specific mix?No. I don't even know what is in the individual envelopes anymore, and they are sealed, all 700 of them. If you want, you can ask me to grab an envelope that is a certain number from the front or back of the stack. In that way, if you have a lucky number or some other superstition about it, I can accommodate you. But I assure you that there very well mixed up.How are they packaged? Each set was selected at random from eight different long boxes where they were kept individually bagged, and occasionally boarded. The set was then sandwiched between two sheets of corrugated cardboard for protection and taped tight to protect against bending in shipping. The now cardboard wrapped sets were place into 9"X12" envelopes and sealed. They await a shipping label with your address on it at this time.*Value determined by the Comic Book Realm Price Guide and Database.
