She iswearing a replica of Jackie\'s famous three-strand faux pearl necklace, which was purchased at Sotheby\'s sale for $211,500 by The Franklin Mint,and is authentically dressed in \"The White Satin Gown Ensemble,\"a recreation of the shimmering white double satin gown she wore on her historic state visit, which was designedby Oleg Cassini, creator of the legendary \"Jackie Look.\" She is dressed and completely accessorizedwith matching stole, gloves, shoes and clutch--every detail authenticated by Cassini, just like his originals.Brochures and certificates of authenticity are also included.

As with everywhere she traveled, the crowds in India loved Jackie. At the airport in New Delhi, Jackie greeted the crowds with the traditional palms-together bow,the namaste, and the crowds cheered wildly, shouting, \"Jakie Ki Jai! Ameriki Rani\" (Hail Jackie! Queen of America) and \"Zindabad!\" (Long Life).

In India, Jackie visited the Taj Mahal, rode a painted elephant, sailed down the Ganges, visited hospitals and left flowers at the site where Mahatma Gandhi had been cremated. She attended a variety of receptions, and at each was dressed in what was being called \"the Jackie Look\" created by her friend, Oleg Cassini.

Perhaps the most sumptuous of her ensembles in India was the white satin gown she wore to the State Banquet. The gown and stole that Oleg Cassini created consisted of a cuffed strapless bodice with the hem of the cuff trimmed in a top stitched ribbon of satin. The waistline featured a satin belt and ribbon bow, and the floor length skirt was enhanced by a mock tunic overskirt hemmed with satin ribbon. Over this elegant ensemble, Jackie wore a ten foot long double faced stole with a fringed satin hem.

A stand is included. She is new in her box...she has not been removed or displayed.
