Pretty Voigtlander Bessa I + 3.5/105 Color Skopar in Synchro Compur shutter (very rare) + 6x4.5 mask
The Bessa I is the more mundane sister to the famous Bessa II. The Bessa I however has a couple of things a Bessa II does not. It is a multi format camera: 6x6 or 6x4.5 with a removable mask in the film chamber and a switcheable, parallax corrected finder for both formats. Also the less complicated nature of the Bessa I makes it stiffer and sturdier than the II.Normally a Bessa I will have a 4.5/105 Vaskar lens. Very nice, but not spectacular. For alot more money you could have it fitted with the same coated Color Skopar that graces the Bessa II in diverse Prontor shutters. Only a very few of this model were fitted with the 1s - 1/500s Synchor Compur shutter. This combination is as rare as hens teeth, It was not even officially listed. If you combine this with an (uncoupled) range finder, you are very close to a Bessa II indeed.
What do you get:
A very nice looking camera, to my eyes EXC+ to EXC++. Mechanically all is well. Shutter has been cleaned and runs great on all speeds. Glass pretty, clear and undamaged. The viewfinder has been cleaned and is very clear.This camera comes with a good looking and precise TELEX rangefinder. RF spot very clear. Also with the rare 6x4.5 mask. Both camera and finder have pretty leather cases and a strap.
