OXFORD JEWELThis sale is for a substantial and unique, enamel heart charm bracelet, that is from the 1940\'s.
This bracelet is gold tone and does not test positive for gold content but has a substantial weight and quality feel at 44 grams. The bracelet measures 7\" long, the chain is 3/8\" wide, and the heart is 7/8\" in diameter (not including the padlock loop). The padlock probably had a key at one point but this key is now lost. The bracelet also appears to have opened from the oversized spring clasp - as I believe the clasp and the bracelet chain is original to the heart lock. The delicate safety chain also appears to be original. This piece is unique for its large size - particularly of the padlock heart and the pretty guilloche enamel design a the front. The back of the padlock is plain and the front has pretty roses and patterning. There is a significant chip to the enamel at the upper right hand corner of the locket which has been painted over in white in a prior repair but is still noticeable on inspection. There are no other irregularities to the piece and it has a bright and golden patina with just a bit of surface scratching visible at the back of the locket. Overall this is a substantial and unique, enamel heart charm bracelet, that is from the 1940\'s and is in very good condition.
