Vtg 1940s Victorian Revival Turquoise Carnelian Art Glass 1" Wide LARGE Bracelet This sale is for a substantial and beautifully designed, Victorian Revival glass bracelet, that is from the 1940's.This piece is not signed but has the quality and feel that indicates the piece is designer made. The bracelet is brass and glass but weighs 69 grams. This piece measures 7 1/4" long, is 1" wide, and is a full 1/2" thick at its thickest point. The bracelet closes securely with its original hidden push clasp and safety chain. This piece has large (and small) glass cabochons that are made to simulate Carnelian and Turquoise. The Turquoise glass is domed in shape, jutting out from their setting, and smooth across the top. The Carnelian glass is flatter across the top (it sits lower in the setting than the turquoise glass) and has square faceting all across the top of the glass. The contrast in color, texture, and shape of the glass gives the bracelet a lot of visual interest. The glass cabs are framed by ornate brass settings and smaller cabs that are 2.5mm in diameter at their smallest. There are no glass cabs missing and there are no chips or surface wear to the glass. The brass setting is bright and golden without any darkening or discoloration. Overall this is a substantial and beautifully designed, Victorian Revival glass bracelet, that is from the 1940's and is in Excellent condition.
