Clifton Curtis "C.C." Williams, Jr. with NASA graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn in 1954 but I cannot find him in this yearbook.
Eugene Bondurant Sledge, a US Marine and popular war author received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1949. He returned to Auburn and was a research assistant in 1954 and in attendance before earning another degree in 1955 for Master of Science in Botany but I cannot find him in this yearbook.
I could be wrong on some of these, this was a very, very long time ago and most of my information came from the internet which is not always 100% accurate. There are other notable people in this yearbook too. I could not possibly list all of the neat things and people I found while performing my research.
