Vtg 20s Snake Flapper Dress Beaded Art Deco Women's Sequins Great Gatsby Poiret For Sale
Up for sale is this incredible 1920’s fully beaded/sequined/embroidered flapper dress with a snake slithering up the front and back. The most incredible and unusual flapper dress I have ever seen. The dress is fully sequined with black sequins with a snake climbing up the fornt and back. The snake is made with sequins, beads and embroidery. The straps, side seams, hem and side slits are trimmed in beads. The dress has an attached silk lining. The dress slightly cocoons at the bottom when on and the back is slightly longer than the front. At one side seam the snakes' heads meet and on the other side the tails meet at the side slight. I literally can find no problems with the dress, I cannot find any missing beading, sequins or issues with the lining. It does appear there was a label at one point, but it had been removed. Simply an incredible dress. Please check out my other sales for more antique clothing and accessories.
As all items we deal with at Fine&Dandy are vintage, all items are sold "as is". Please understand even items in great condition had a whole other life before your purchase and have general wear. Also, even garments in excellent condition are recommended to be cleaned in the proper manner prior to wearing. We try to take very good pictures and write good descriptions and therefore there are no refunds unless there is something really big we missed, which will be determined by Fine&Dandy at the time the problem is presented. Your offer is a contract agreeing to this policy. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Payment is due within 7 days of the end of the sale; failure to meet this deadline will result in the item being offered to the second highest buyer on the 8th day. Items are shipped on Saturday, and we absolutely combine shipping; we use flat rate boxes and will get as much in each box as we can fit, so fill those boxes!
