Vtg 50s 60s Kienzle Enamel Tin Plate Pale Green Wall Clock Retro Germany Atomic For Sale

Superb vintage Kienzle,Germany wall clock.
Pale green and cream painted enamel metal with a brass bezel and a lovely convex and hinged opening front glass.
The cream face has stylised numbers and arrow head minute markers in black. To the centre of the face is the trademark Kienzle signature and underneath it is written ELECTRIC, although it always had a kienzle battery movement whilst in my possession.
At the bottom of the clock face are the words " Made in Germany'. The outer decoration is a band or pale (utility) green and then an outer edge of cream
Please note that this clock has been fitted with a new quartz movement as the old one was becoming erratic and temperamental.
So it now has oodles of vintage charm and keeps immaculate time.ConditionGreat vintage condition.
The brass is nice and clean and free from tarnishing. A couple of very minor surface scratches to the glass, which are not visible at all on display and onlt when held up right to your face.Some minor fading to the words 'made in Germany and a few small little areas of pitted and missing paint on the outside edge / sides.
Perfect for a vintage kitchen or home. The colours work beautifully together and remind me of the look of old tin / enamel wear, Weighing scales, cups 8"Face Diameter: 6"Depth 3"
