An absolutely killer 1950's "Glentop" shirt jac. Pure rockabilly style on display!
The body is made up of a light-to-medium gray wool gabardine, while the 2 front panels are rayon sporting a classic Scottish plaid of black, red, green, white, yellow and blue. The stylings here are boner-iffic: green pearl shank buttons, a cool asymmetrical flapped pocket on the left side, and a button strap closure over the bottom button in front.
The material is not tagged- although we can say with near certainty that the sleeves are a soft, smooth and luxurious wool gabardine and the front plaid sections are a lightweight and very soft rayon.
Condition: Great. No major issues whatsoever, this is ready to wear upon arrival. No holes, rips or odors. There is some very faint spotting at the right cuff and some on the back (see photos). There are a few very faint shadowy spots on the back. A simple dry-cleaning should get this shirt to near-mint condition.
