This paper or paper mache LargeEgg shaped Candy Container is a HANGING Ornament Container. Easter decor - or it could be a vintage German Christmas candy box ornament.

Interior is particularly fancy. Wine and white floral design in the bottom with paper lace trimmed doily edging. Exterior is a bright green leaf textured foil.

Very Big - Measures approx 6 inches long and approx 6 inches wide in the center.

Marked Made in West Germany in the wine floral interior - so this has to place it late 1940\'s at earliest - late 1940\'s to early 1950s, is my best guesstimate. Is possible that it is 1960\'s, but I do not believe it is even later than that decade.

Condition: Very Good. Clean and bright. Original string hanger. Interior bright and fancy paper lace doily edging lovely. It does have a scuff mark or tiny tear to the green textured foil. Please see photos.

Very light but the protective packaging needed will put this over the First Class weight limit. Will need to mail Parcel or Priority. No Handling Fees.
