A highly collectible beauty from flamboyant couturier Elsa Schiaparelli, whose designs were characterized by the use of unusual and often very colorful stones and glass. Schiaparelli 's pieces were known for unusual and quirky, who had created a legacy of Surrealist-inspired designs that shocked critics in the 1930's. Her costume jewelry then became fashion statements, and still receive much admiration today. Up for sale is an authentic vintage Schiaparelli Watermelon Heliotrope Bracelet, and Earrings Parure 3 pcs set. All pieceswere signed. The rainbow color is very striking and full of vitality.It displays color differentlyunder different angles and light.

Excellent near mint vintage, had been well care for. All stones are original and intact. Sparkling clear with no major flaw. Onlya fewvery tiny scratches on the surface and it can only be seen from holding it very closely from certain angle and light. Extremely hard to see when worn.
Metal in excellent condition as well. Brilliant gold tone. No major rusting, showing some very minoroxidation on the metal(back of the set) due to age. The gold tone is moreintense and rich in person than shownin the pics. The camera flash took away some of its luster and make the metal appear unevenin the pics.
Clasps and chain work well.
