This is a vintage, very lovely hand-carved shell cameo brooch or pendant, set in 900 sterling silver. The back of the brooch features a small attached flexible silver ring at the top, should you want to thread a silver chain through and wear this as a pendant. The cameo itself is hand-set high into a silver bezel and then mounted onto a sterling silver frame with a decorative silver twisted rope around it. The brooch is signed 900 on the underside of the frame (see second-from-last photo below).

The brooch measures 1⅛" down by ⅞" across (NOT counting the little silver ring at the top), and the cameo itself is carved from just one piece of shell. Featured is the profile of a Lovely young woman with an elaborate curly hair-do, a wide open eye, and and wearing button or pearl earrings and a graduated pearl necklace. There appears to be a strand of pearls woven in and about her hair. Overall condition is excellent - absolutely NOTHING wrong with this! What a lovely gift this would be for a young girl just learning to appreciate fine hand-made sterling silver jewelry.

I will ship this 900 sterling silver shell cameo pendant or brooch to most places in the world. I must receive payment 5 days after the close of the sale or I will re-list the item. Returns OK if within 14 days from the end of the sale, but only if item(s) are misrepresented in the listing. Please pay for this via PayPal.

Whenever possible, I am happy to combine your purchases into just one package to save you shipping fees. I can wait up to five days to get paid, should you want to wait and see if you have won other items I currently am listing.
