Beautiful Wearable Art from the Great Master Artisan... Joseph H. Quintana (Native American - Cochiti 1915-1991)
Provenance: From the Estate of Irma Bailey. Irma passed away in 2012 at the age of 95. A friend and supporter of the Peabody Museum in New Mexico, she had employed Joseph Quintana at her shop in the 1960's. Her collection is in the book, Joe H. Quintana: Master in Metal
This circa 1965 Silver Overlay Squash Blossom Necklace was Awarded 3rd Premium at the 1966 New Mexico State Fair. Ribbon is included but is a bit beat up.
