Mid-century ashtray by Freeman & McFarlin, California pottery makers, with a wide gilt/gold band, and avacado green interior. Bottom is signed F. McF, Calif. USA, and has the numbers 283 & 597. It is in very good vintage condtion - no chips, cracks, repairs. Minor to no surface wear. It measures 9\" long by 6-1/4\" wide, and stands 2\" high (including feet). The bottom of each foot has small felt pads.
