Vtg Midcentury Glasbake Coffee Mug Suffolk Draft Horse :
Here is the fifth of 5 vintage Glasbake heat resistant mugs I am listing separately.
This sale is for the Suffolk mug ONLY. The last photo shows this mug and all the other mugs available in separate listings. Each has a different image of a draft horse on one side, while the back is plain white.
Glasbake was developed in the early 1900's by McKee Glass Co. to serve 3 purposes.
The casserole dishes could go into the oven to bake, be moved to the table for serving, and also to go into the fridge for storage. The original spelling of "Glasbak" was changed to "Glasbake" in 1951. In 1961 the company changed hands and became Jeanette Glass. According to research, the Glasbake made by Jeanette Glass used an ID number with a "J' prefix which helps to tell when they were made. On the bottom of this mug it says, "Glasbake 77" and then "69" beneath that. This mug was made in the 1950's. Payment is due within 2 days after the end of the sale by PayPal only, and there is no return. Thanks for looking.
