Vtg Pair Mama & Baby Bird Nest Fine Porcelain Wall Pocket Vase Napco? 2548 For Sale
Vintage Pair of Fine Porcelain Wall Pockets with Mama & Baby Birds & NestVery delicate design, for example look at the detail of the tips of the leaves. One has a shiny finish and the other one has a mostly matte finish. About 4" x 4" at widest points. The number "2548" is inscribed in gold on reverse side of each one. I don't know the maker, these were a gift from an 86 year-old neighbor.
Condition: Excellent. I can't find any flaws, except some very minor discoloration on reverse where it has touched the wall from hanging.

Please Note: The bird on the right, with the yellow neck, has a very slight speck above its left eye, which I just noticed. It looks as if it might be where glaze didn't cover fully, it is less than 1/3 the size of the head of a straight pin. If you hover in picture #5 you can see it, although it looks bigger than it is.
