Gorgeous Vintage Japanese Tea Set
Made in Japan
Acquired from a woman who grew up in Japan in the 1950\'s and 1960\'s - this was purchased by her family there
Ceramic / Porcelain Tea Pot with lid and wicker handle, and 3 matching Tea Cups with lids
2 extra lids for the cups, \"just in case\"
Beautiful metallic gold details, along with red and black
Excellent condition with NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR CRAZING
Some small imperfections in the paint, since it was hand-made - see all photos for details
Tea pot measures 4\" tall w/o handle, 6.5\" tall including handle (handle folds down)
Pot measures 5.75\" from spout to back, and 4.5\" diameter across
Clean inside, with only a slight darkness around the bottom inside (from tea) and one tiny brown \"dot\" (see photo #12)
Pot also has a built-in strainer with approx 1/8\" holes (see closeup photo #12)
Cups measure 3\" diameter across top lip, 2\" deep
Cup lids measure 3.25\" diameter across
Each cup holds 1/2 cup of liquid (4 ounces)
