Here is an authentic Singer slotted clamping screw for various attachments - are you missing this vital part?This sale features the screw that was supplied with many of Singer\'s vintage sewing machine attachments, such as the button-holer, the blind stitch attachment, and the early zigzagger. The slotted end allows it to be tightened with a screwdriver, rather than just your fingers, which can allow the heavier accessories to be held more securely in place. It can also be used on the newer attachments, such as the slant shank walking foot. Its narrower but longer \"profile\" is easier to use in the attaching process than a regular thumb screw. Whether you want to upgrade a rusty one, replace a missing one, or just add a useful tool to your accessories, this may be just what you need! It is in good to very good used condition, and should give many more years of use.
