Vtg Southwestern Signed "jjs" Sterling Silver Turquoise Cuff 1" Wide Bracelet For Sale
Vtg Southwestern Signed "JJS" Sterling Silver Turquoise Cuff 1" Wide Bracelet
This sale is for a well made and striking, sterling and turquoise cuff bracelet, that is from the 1960's - 70's.This piece is not marked for silver content but tests positive for sterling silver and weighs 61 grams. The bracelet has a maker mark of "JJS" and is 1 1/8" wide. The inside circumference of this piece is 5 3/4" from tip to tip with an additional 1.5" gap. The bracelet has a striking design that is accented with rough cut turquoise stones that on average measure 3/8" to 1/2". The stones are thick and jut out from the base of the bracelet strikingly when worn so the piece has a lot of texture and visual interest. There is some silverwork by the ends of the cuff, on one side it looks like some of the silverwork is missing, if you compare the two sides. There are no other irregularities to the silver, no signs of solder or repair, and there are no chips or wear to the turquoise - the colors are bright and contrast boldly with the silver. Overall this is a well made and striking, sterling and turquoise cuff bracelet, that is from the 1960's - 70's that is in very good condition.
