Beautifulvintage sterling silver hand engravedcurb bit from the 60's or 70's, withscalloped edge conchos on each cheek, one large and one small.It has a5"mouthpiece and copper inlaid bars; thecheeks are approx. 8" long and the headstall rings ever so slightly flaired.Itis starting to patinize black again since the last time it was polished,which the black patina definately helps denote quality in this bit.Not maker marked, but it was more than likely made by the same craftsman as did bits for Fleming and Vogt during this time period as a few snuck through unmarked. The quality of silver and attention to detail in the engraving really give that away. It is in excellent condition for having been used and spent minimal time in the show ring over the years.
